What was the name of the cocktail bar I used to frequent for a while that had a tropical corner with baby crocks and tortoises and every 15 minutes there was a rain shower with sound effects?

Want to write my memoires but my brain is gently dissolving.
Might have been not too far from the Barracuda club but I'm no longer sure.

Was in the Mayfair hotel. Closed in 1985 and is now called the Crystal Room

What was the name of the restaurant near the Playboy Club where the waitresses used to wear schoolgirl uniforms?
Definitely wasn't PC but was great fun.
I think my favourite restaurant at the time was Simpsons on the Strand. Great roasts and spotted dick with custard.
