That looks good but quite expensive. I was looking at Donald Russell. I don't mind paying for quality though.
It's not cheap but if you look at their ribeye for example of 30 quid for minimum 750g off the boneMinimum 800g on the bone
Waitrose sell an excellent bone is rib steak for 30 quid a kilo
So yes more expensive but I don't think it's in take the piss territory.
I'd love to support a local butcher but there just isn't one that produces consistently good beef.
I have been buying from these for a couple of years now...

They're the only online butcher i've used, but they do fantastic tomahawk steaks. They are superb reverse seared.
Currently have the 28oz ones on sale for £16.99

I tried donald russell. The steak is nice but cut small. The burgers were amazing though. Also very good from them are their minces. However their sausages are only average (though quality components) and as to their haggis - once tried, never again, even if it was humanely hunted.
I use https://www.stiltonbutchers.co.uk - always been spot on.
O/H is Scottish so shops north of the border, no complaints from me: https://www.johndavidsons.com

I have been a customer of Rikki's for years now. Always spot on and locally produced, some of the best sausages you will ever taste. Pork pies are great as are his Faggots. Never tried the delivery service as I live near. Its always busy which means the locals like it can't ask for more than that, if the sheep farmers use him it has to be right.
