Disposable glasses, crocks and cuts
Discussion
Got a limited 'do' coming up. Want to not have loads of glass / crockery / cutlery complications (rental, bust my own etc.). So would appreciate recommendations for non-floppy paper plates, non-bendy/breaking placky knives/forks and reasonably solid/elegant plastic pint/tumbler/wine glasses.

A few years ago, my aunt had a "tea party"
She bought all the sets of cups saucers, plates and cutlery that were in stock at 3 of her local charity shops, plus some glass wear. And donated them back a week later. They gave her a special price.
She also encouraged her guests to take home anything they liked.
I got a nice little milk jug.

Bloody brilliant idea. She bought all the sets of cups saucers, plates and cutlery that were in stock at 3 of her local charity shops, plus some glass wear. And donated them back a week later. They gave her a special price.

Buy real stuff from IKEA, then donate it to the Greeks.
Or their Kalas range "A sustainable alternative to disposable tableware because it can be re-used"https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/search/products/?q=kala...

Rent out Polycarbonate glassware (good quality plastic stuff that does not break): They deliver and you return it dirty.
