Pub type lunch on Monday....Headington Oxford

Ideally with a garden, needs to be very close to Nuffield Ortho Hospital in Oxford.....

Dont really know the area, so what have you got chaps ?

The nearest I can think of whilst staying in that part of town is The Black Boy, the other side of London Road from The Nuffield. Had a good rep, closed, changed management and has now reopened with what I seem to recall are favourable comments.

All other decent pubs are either deep in town (if you could make it across to Iffley then the Chester Arms never fails, although forget parking anywhere close!) or more wings/burgers/craft beers than proper pub lunch.

Thanks for the recommendation, Pub looked great online and in real life....

Sadly though, today they were shut due to staff shortages.....

Ended up in a Green King on the Headington high street.
