This will be for 2 people, I’m a fairly big eater. It’s a 2 burner and on offer.
Will I regret not getting the 310?

Please no ‘get a charcoal bbq instead’ it has to be gas for ease of use.

A traditional 57cm kettle has more than enough cooking area for me and the other half. This will be fine for you as long as you dont plan on it needing to cook for many more than the 2 of you.

I would personally suggest that you will regret not going for the 310, especially if you think you might use the GBS system for a griddle pan.

We have the 310, and even with additional space, with a griddle plate fitted, I struggle to get enough food on there for a family of 4 to eat. It must be hell with a 210!

And that's before you consider those times when you've got a few people over......

I have this BBQ. It’ll cook 5-6 M&S “best ever” burgers and ~12 sausages at the same time, but there wouldn’t be room for much more. If you compare it to an oven grill pan in terms of size, it’s probably 2.5-3 times the surface area.

Plenty big enough for 2 and for when friends come over.

My Weber has a cooking area 58cm x 44cm and I cook for a family of 5 adults no problem. Sunday roast and Christmas turkey also go on without an issue.

If your never going to use the GBS plate as well as other stuff......it'll be fine.....but once you start loading up with things like asparagus or indeed corn on the cob which needs a decent bit of spacing....i'd say you'd struggle. Similarly keeping sensible spacing when doing say spatchcock chicken or skewers from raw, it'll be tight. 210 doesn't get a warming rack either from the looks of it? Again, something we use all the time.

Not trying to be awkward, it'll work fine, but personal experience from someone who cooks AT LEAST once a week on my 310, is as above. (Family of 4, thats only 2 adults and really one kid in reality who likes a couple of burgers).

On the plus side, regardless of the size you go for, its a great bit of kit. I've never had anything other than a great tasting BBQ on ours.

Tell a lie - I have the 215, not the 210. It has a warming rack, which is handy once food has cooked. If that’s the difference between the 210 and 215 then I’d go for the 215 personally.

I'd definitely go for a three burner, I have an older 310 and wouldn't be without it. I mainly cook for two but the space is invaluable for cooking different types of things and definitely if you cook for more than two.

I’ve got this and it’s plenty big enough for 6 people which I’ve cooked for. I’m a big eater too.

Partly depends what you plan on cooking on it. If it’s simple stuff, probably would be fine. If you start getting ideas about indirect cooking, you’ll struggle. It’s not impossible, but harder.

I got the e310 earlier in the year and it’s absolutely superb. John Lewis, £530 ish, came with a cover. Currently has a spatchcocked chicken on it.

I do also have a charcoal Weber bbq, used it last night. Different type of thing really, today is about ease.

We have a 310. Most of the time just the Two of us.
Two Burner would be enough 90% of the Time.
Veg, Pizzas, Indirect and smoking I use all Three.

Get the 310 or 320 if you think a Side Burner would be of use.

I bought the Spirit 315 GBS a few weeks ago for £365 brand new from B&Q, at first i thought it would be too small for hosting and was looking at the genesis, but i'm glad i got the 315. It's a good size for cooking for 2 of us, able to cook multiple burgers, sausages, skewers etc,

Agreed. OP - have you decided / ordered yet? If not, take note. If so, you'll be fine. (most of the time).

Kudos
