What's this in my sausage?

Hi all

Eating a sausage earlier from a pack which has been very grisly and I spat a bit out that appears to be a round plastic pellet.

Would this have been used in the slaughter (I can't imagine but thought I'd ask!)

wont be from slaughter but more likely contamination from when it was made. Are they st sausages or decent ones ?

I got them from a well known cash and carry. About 7 quid for a pack. There was a lot of gristle so won't be buying them again.
