Good eateries please, have a couple of nights down there.

Last time we were down that way, we went to an Indian tapas place on the Poole road, which we enjoyed......

I have friends who live in Whitecliff and we wandered down to Rockfish yesterday for lunch. They serve freshly caught fish of the day, the dishes are fairly minimalist and around £25/£30, with pleasant service. Glass of champagne £6.95 and they have a decent Sauvignon Blanc.

My friends don’t rate Rick Steins, they mentioned the dishes are massively over-priced in comparison to Rockfish (Dover Sole £58!).

Urban Reef/Gardens/Beach - part of the same company, just different parts of Bournemouth. I have eaten at them a few times and the food is very nice.

Last week I ate at a place called West Beach - that was also good.

I've not eaten at Korean Grill, but thanks, I'll check it out at some point !

Dover sole is £42 There are pubs up here in the Cotswolds that are more expensive than Steins.

You get a fish finger and 6 chips for £20 at Ricks, then wait 45 minutes for the bill.

The new Thai in Poole high street is good -
