Birria tacos, ingredients

Has anyone made birria tacos. Been on the to make list for a while but could get quite costly due to specialist chilli's not widely available here plus the meat selection.


Has anyone made is with regular ingredients ? what chilli and meats did you go for?

ahhh biria tacos. The cause of me spending 14 hours lying on the floor hugging the toilet in mexico city in december. (alternating only to hop on an paint the inside with my other end every 20 minutes).

Anyway, that excitement aside I''ve never made them (or wanted to for the above reasons) but the standard is to use beef instead of goat.
