So a branch has recently opened near me and i have given it a couple of visits.

Decent quality for being basic fast food , certainly better thanks McDonald’s imo. Good vege options and lovely doughnuts lol.

Anyone been / tried? Not a coffee drinker so dunno what that’s like.

Mrs likes to drop in for a chilled coffee/milkshake and those tiny timbits. Too sickly sweet for my liking. hehe

I am surrounded by them ( live in Toronto), hopefully their UK version is better, ours have very salty food and pretty Meh coffee!

I noticed the Pizzashed at J27, Birstall closed during CV19 and was being made into one of these last time I was over there.

Its not great is it, the doughnuts are no better than supermarket attempts and the coffee is average at best.

Indeed I was left quite disappointed.

How's your brother BTW? Not head from him in a while, assume he is either staying in/keeping out of trouble?

Been to the Manchester & Sheffield ones and enjoyed them both. Food much better than the other fast food places, I love the coffee too.

Been to Canada several times so visited TH on many occasions.

Been in a few in Canada; Timbits are brill, other food is OK (had a nice bacon roll in St.John, NB), coffee is vile.

It's owned by a Brazilian hedge fund, so any Canadian connection is tenuous, at best.

Not been to one in the UK yet, but one opening soon in Watford.

Been to loads in BC. Kids love the timbits while i prefer a Boston Cream. Regular coffee is OK but really enjoy a very strong Dark Roast (usual order is a medium Dark Roast with an extra double shot).

Looking forward to having one close by.

The chain was founded by Tm Horton, a Canadian Hockey player, and it remains the largest fast food retailer in Canada so not all that tenuous...

Them making good coffee, thats the tenuous bit...its pretty cr4p but somehow enough people seem to like it !

I tried them several times in Canada and as said above, the coffee is crap. Macdonalds espresso was far better, provided you could stop them adding sugar and French vanilla!

Loved their coffees I had in Canada but as I recall they were 'double doubles' and too many of those would probably catch up...
I've tried them once here in the UK, wasn't as impressed.

The American chain Popeyes (fried chicken) which that parent company also owns, is moving into the UK too. One opening up in Londons Westfield Stratford shopping centre.
