Hi,

Bit of an add one, but usually PH pulls through.

Just collected our turkey from the butchers and it has several blue marks on it (see photo)

Trying to contact butchers to see if its normal, but obviously very busy today.

I've never seen anything like this before, so wondered if it's normal?

Doesn't smell rotten or anything!

Thanks

Andy

A quick Google suggests that is normal and is the pigment of the feathers extruding onto the skin.

Perfectly normal.

Cheers, just didn't want to have to send a picture of me holding it and looking pissed off to the Daily Mail!

As far as I'm concerned, the only good turkey is a goose
