... Korean Hot Bowls!
Discussion
Anyone do Korean Hot Bowls in a Dolsot type bowl ? for Bibimbap ?
I got some "Ddukbaegi" bowls for Christmas ... a bit different to the Dolsot as they're earthenware not stone bowls which makes them easier to look after..
Idea is you heat them up in the oven or stove, whack in some sticky rice in the bottom then add some partly cooked veg and meat in the top, as they're scorching hot when you mix everything up it acts as a small wok and cooks the meal in the bowl... also add your sauces of choice on top.. Korean hot paste (Gochujang paste)
Really good and tasty and something different! plus a bit of theatre at the table!

Sounds quite dangerous and a good way of giving your guests food posioning.
He said the meat would be partially cooked prior, and I imagine won't be too thick either. So risk is near to zero, unless the guest is an idiot. In which case, Darwin, best he dies.OP never heard of it myself. Only come across Korean Restaurants with table top BBQ's where the diners cook the food themselves. Only Korean thing I have recently is Korean Fried Chicken/Wings. Korean fried chicken has become a thing recently.
Always like it when Indian Restaurants bring there metal with wood base dishes and you can hear it's all sizzling, so I think it will go down well at your parties.
