I’m so confused with all the various different descriptions for microwaves!

Which out of these two is ‘better’? They both are the same price - £160.

I want something to ‘replace’ (as much as possible) my oven, for energy-efficiency reasons. I don’t have a microwave currently, as my one broke.

Aren't they pretty much the same thing? Don't different retailers use slightly different model numbers to prevent easy price comparisons?

If you wany to ‘replace’ your oven then the second one is more suitable as it is a combi microwave, i.e. it has a convection oven built in.

General they can usually be used either as a stand alone oven or in combination with the microwave to give shorter cook times, but similar results to cooking in a conventional oven. In practice this does have it’s limitations though.

This but why would you want to replace your oven for energy efficiency reasons? How long would it take to repay the outlay and what compromises would you be making as you cant cook everything that you would in a conventional oven
