Chaps…I’m sure one of you will know a decent pub around for lunch around Castle Combe and/or surrounding villages?
So very many to choose from! Will you actually be in Castle Combe itself, or are you ducking in specifically for a pub lunch? If the latter then more villages are opened up, I'm guessing. Let me know and I'll happily narrow down with some recommendations
OK, in that kind of radius, we have frequented and enjoyed:
1. South of the M4:

1. South of the M4:
- The White Hart, Castle Combe
- The Bell Inn, Yatton Keynell
- The Biddestone Arms, Biddestone
- The White Hart, Ford
- Allington Farm Shop, Allington (not a pub, but bloomin' delicious food!)
- The Pewsham, Chippenham
- The Lansdowne Arms, Derry Hill
- The Langley Tap, Langley Burrell
- Le Flambé, Sutton Benger
- The Vine Tree, Norton (currently being refurbished, but may be open when you travel; check)
- The Fox and Hounds, Acton Turville (I@ve not been here, but it has a good reputation and you could rejoin the M4 at Junction 18)
