I feel like I'm going mad, help me out wise PHers... I'm having memories from 25 years ago of cheese and pickle flavour crisps. In a yellow bag. Can I heck remember the brand.

However Google has come up a blank other than a limited edition Walkers, that definitely isn't right ...

Nope. Magnificent crisps but not in that flavour.

I'm sure I can remember the same from the mid 90's, think they were sold in a couple of pubs I frequented back then.
No idea which brand though, I don't think it was one of the usual big names.

Smiths.

Yellow pack with a big blue diamond on the front with a farmer in it.

Thanks gang! I think it could well hve been Smiths. When I'm googling them now I'm getting a re-release with pickles (gherkins?) rather than pickle but the description of the packet sounds right.

Now where's my time machine?

Ham and mustard in that brown crinkle type bag was the best.

It was roast beef and mustard or ham and pickle. Loved them, can't believe they have been discontinued.

Didn’t mini cheddars do a crinkled cheese and pickle?

I believe they did a Branston pickle flavour. They don't do it any more though from what I can tell. frown

Not crinkled. They were great. The sandwich can at work did them, and our MD at the time found it most amusing/exasperating that I put them in stacks of five before eating them.

I'm sure they did a marmite flavour and ham flavour.

Ham definitely. I'm not disputing Marmite, but I definitely remember ham.

I like the red Leicester ones too.

The Red Leicester is excellent. The marmite ones came in a black bag.
