North London curry restaurant recommendation for group?
Discussion
Hi Folks
Could anyone recommend a curry restaurant in North/Northeast London that could accommodate a large group of around 25 people without the acoustics being awful?!
Yes it’s that time of year again and I am supposed to be the social secretary – God help them.
Any suggestions most welcome. I like to support smaller businesses but sometimes the noise levels are indeed overwhelming when you put a large group in.
Thanks in advance. Stoke Newington kind of area perfect.
Cheers - sorry to interrupt your day from watching politics programs!!

Searock in North Finchley is my favourite. Sril Lankan food is much better than the average Pakistani/Indian IMO.
Outside of Southall/Ilford, Sea Rock is my go-to place too. The owner is Sri Lankan and the head chef is Punjabi. Most of the locals frequenting are (East African) Gujurati. The dishes are mainly Punjabi but quite a bit of East Africa cuisine represented. Boulevard Club just down the road is okay too and has the added benefit of being near (walking distance) two stations: New Southgate and Arnos Grove.
Both restaurants have tv screens so noise not a problem.
