I'm taking my daughter away for an event tonight and we need to eat before it starts. Will have about an hour.
Is that long enough to get a meal at a Nandos? I've never been in one, so don't know how quick the service is likely to be.

I'm hoping it will be an improvement on the McDonald's alternative smile

Should be plenty of time - once you're seated. There may well be a queue for a table which will obviously delay your meal plans, especially if you're eating near an attraction/theatre/concert etc.
They operate on a turn up and eat basis so no booking is available which can be a pain as you won't know the wait time until you actually arrive.

Once seated you go up to order at the till, they don't come and ask you what you would like. Remember your table number!

The chicken livers are a hidden gem !

Get the peri peri salt on your chips and a Perinaise dip when you order.

Unless your a masochist anything over medium is not advised for your first trip.

You can get the hotter sauces from the condiments selection if you want to try them.

Have a look at the menu before you go, so when you get there and seated just order straightaway. As has been said it just depends on the wait time to get in. Depends on the time of eating etc.

Cheers everyone, some great tips there!
I'll give it a try. If the queue is too long when we get there we'll just have to bum it in Burgerking.

For further timesaving, download the app and order from your table.

To be super efficient, upload your order to the app before you get then, then just hit send as soon as you sit down and get your table number. From hitting send, you'll easily be done within 30 mins. As others have stated the issue will be if there's a queue to get a table.

You’re going to feel old. It’s a venue for 14 yr olds on their first dates. Oh, and ask them to turn the music down.

The chicken sits in a warmer all day ready to finish on the grill, so food should be quick.
