I'm taking Mrs RosscoPCole to see ABBA Voyage between Christmas and New Year and was looking for a restaurant to take her for a late lunch near the venue. I'm no CEO, so no 3 star Michelin please, but also don't want to go to a chain restaurant that we can eat at near home.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

The Abba thing’s opposite Pudding Mill Lane DLR station so you’ll be at the southern end of the park. There’s feck all around that immediate area.

Where you eat is a bit dependent on how you’re getting there (train/tube/driving etc) as the park’s huge (as is the shopping centre).

There’s a noddle place (Tonkotsu Stratford) off Westfield Avenue on the walk down to the stadium which is good, quick & decent value - recommend booking.

Heard decent things about Formans fish restaurant (Fish Island, to the north west of PML) but I’ve not been there: https://www.formans.co.uk/restaurant/

Haugen is nearby and is a nice environment with good service.

Especially nice if it's a cold day and you can have a curry wurst. smile

By far and away your best bet is to walk for 25 mins through the park or get a bus to hackney Wick.

Cornerstone is good but not cheap.

Barge east is nice and reasonably priced.

White post pub good pizzas not expensive. Ditto natura.a few good pubs round there now.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are driving up and staying at the Premier Inn at Stratford Westfield. Will have a proper look at all the restaurants later when I have time to browse the menus.

Car Park A or B in Westfield then.

BTW (don't know when you are going) West Ham's next home games are 30.12.22 (KO @ 19:45) and 21 (maybe 22) Jan. Parking gets extremely busy when we're at home & there are road closures etc.
