Christmas Biscuit Boxes

Started on the Fox's Christmas biscuit box last night...f me waht a con. is there a bigger ipoff going?

2 layers of plastic holding the biscuits each with a film over them for freshness but each layer contains 2 at most, but mostly 1 biscuit of each variety! a grand total of 26 biscuits i think.

from memory they were £5-£8 i think. cant remember if it was as bad last year, but what a con.

Will report back on the mcvities one next week.

Next year will just get the M&S ones, screw tradition.

Even Lidl are up to it with their Favorit chocky xmas box selection. Two or three of each one. Pathetic.

I noticed straight after Xmas the supermarkets were selling off the boxes of Family Circle for £1.50, but even at that price they are still more expensive than buying normal packs of the individual biscuits.

Was on offer last year though, so very cheap.

I refuse to buy the Foxes biscuits for exactly this reason. A few years ago, picked up a pack of some sort of Viennese strawberry jam fingers, sat in a plastic tray within a film wrapper, so you assume it’ll be reasonably filled with product. But oh no. Foxtrot Oscar Foxes, we’re done.

I look at the weight. 500 - 800gm of biscuits for £5-6 ? A packet of chocolate biscuits is usually 300gm.
