Is Delonghi still the goto

For bean to cup coffee machines?

Old well used Delonghi is to be replaced, ninja machines seem quite funky or should we stick with tried ans tested?

ETA

Current machine has a steam wand we've never really used, is it worth getting a milk brother?

Get a proper set up, a good grinder and a espresso machine

Might aswell get a nespresso if you think bean to cup coffee is any good

I don't see how manually putting the beans in a grinder and then manually putting the ground coffee in an espresso machine is so superior to letting the machine do the whole thing. For someone who is an inexperienced barista, the machine will surely do a much better job and more efficiently and with less mess.

As sneering goes, thats pretty sneery, but I've had far more impressive sneers in my time.


PS I've discounted the Ninja because (horror of horrors) it needs manual tamping. Jura's are a bit too spendy.

Oh and it's frother not brother.

I went through a lengthy amount of time and ended up biting the bullet and getting the full blown 'super automatic' Jura Z10 (even the Hoffmann rated it as the best B2C) I was lucky and She who holds the pen was totally on board and signed it off The Ninja was not on sale at the time but if the budget was tighter then it would be the Ninja that tamps and based on weight. Good description and comparison here..........
