I thought I'd done a similar thread, but couldn't find it.

Any suggestions for seriously hot wing sauces?

My usual go to is out of stock: https://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/product/psycho-...

As nice as Franks is, it doesn't even register in terms of spice, so anyone got any mega spicy ideas?

This stuff

Not tried this specific one but I've had their other products with Pepper X in and they're delicious as well as seriously spicy.

His wing sauce is my absolute fave. It's not mega hot but my god, it's so tasty!

However, the rest are hot but not the chemical hot for heats sake - very tasty too.

Highly recomend.

It's a general hot sauce (too hot for me unfortunately when I tried it evil) but Mr Vikki does do a fantastic range.

He does a wing sauce, but might be a bit mild for your tastes!

Pepper-X Gator is very hot, used it last year at a BBQ and those who prided themselves on being able to handle hot food couldn't stomach the heat.

This probably falls into that category of all the ones I've tried in my life: https://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/product/psycho-...

Worryingly these ones sit in an even higher heat category, I'm intrigued: https://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/category/hot-ch...

Out of curiosity, what's the attraction in overly hot sauce? I like spice as much as the next person but beyond a certain point it's just unpleasant and barely edible.

I don't know if they sell the sauce online, but Hotter Than The Sun wings at Bunny Jacksons is by far the hottest sauce I've ever eaten.

I agree that the hottest of the hottest sauces are fairly pointless, but my tolerance is weirdly high, so what to some people would sit in the 'what's the point' category, for me it's a nice strong level of heat.

Agree with that.

I will say stuff like Daves Hot Sauce is just nuclear and I don't even get to the 'flavour' bit.

Out of interest what makes a wing sauce different to a general hot sauce?

Edited to add

Add a pinch or two of this to a sauce you otherwise like the flavour of

Not sure exactly what it is, but there's definitely a certain flavour to wing sauces that seems to be fairly consistent with most wing sauces I've tried. Possibly vinegar?

I've added a link to the post you've quoted.

Add some of that to franks as a starter
