Online Supermarket Shopping 2026
Discussion
Actually don't think this has been discussed in a couple of years (hence adding a 2026 tag). What presently are your recommendations.
Context - the quadriceps tendon on my left knee has just torn and within the next couple of days will be operated on. It is a 6-8 week recovery period and I will be near house bound for 4 weeks, certainly the first two. Net result is I am going to have to do mu supermarket shop online. Not done one in probably over 15 years so no clue who is good or bad (and I assume they are all a lot better than they used to be). I am generally supermarket agnostic, using most in the Watford/Rickmansworth area, though Iceland and M&S tend to be just 2-3 times per year.

No complaints with Tesco, and the driver tracker in the app is pretty good.
But, we generally get the basics/essentials delivered by Tesco and then top up at Waitrose/M&S with nicer better quality stuff whenever convenient. Had the odd delivery from Waitrose in the past no issues, if I couldn't get into store I'd try them again.
