Blackstone (Griddle / Flat Top / Plancha) Thread

I have had a quick search and other than the odd post on the BBQ thread I can't see much chat about these so here we go with a dedicated thread.

After selling my Kamado Joe I have used the money to buy a Blackstone griddle 32" from Costco at what appears to be a bargain price. Now to the assembly and seasoning before the first cook.

Anybody else have Blackstone or similar flat top?

Yes, that's the one. £299+ VAT at Costco. Currenly assembled, heating up ready for the first of 4/5 coats of avocado oil to season.

Lots of friends bought these in the last few years and despite my wife saying go ahead and get one I thought it would rarely get used after the novelty wore off . Instead I got a full size griddle tray that sits neatly inside the Weber for as and when required , fraction of the price too .
