Hello

I have a new split section wine fridge - the top is about 5 degrees and the bottom is 14.

All bottles lie down.

How do I put an open bottle of wine back in the fridge without leaking?

My current bottle stoppers leak!

Thanks

John

Indeed - who opens a bottle of wine and then fails to drink it all?

Just to add … if you’re going to do it, put it in your normal fridge.

If you really can’t manage a bottle of wine, try this -

Vacuvin is your friend. The 'new' stoppers (been around a good 8 or 10 years now) are not as good as the old ones for keeping the wine, but no leakage.

I've never failed to muscle a cork back in well enough to seal, on the occasions when my eyes might have been bigger than my stomach/liver.
