Everyone I know seems to remove the gherkin from their burger.

So I thought I would see if this is representative.

Nope, I take them out. My wife loves them though so she's happy she gets extra.

For over 30 years, I pulled them out like they were actual snot.

I feel like gherkins are one of those food items most people would like if they actually tried them. I suspect many people who remove them have never tried one.

Won't mean anything for Maccies - they get theirs from Turkey so were already tariff free.

Out. I don't mind the taste too much but the texture spoils a good burger. They add nothing. Onions, lettuce, cheese, mustard and ketchup with bacon being a welcome addition. Gherkins, not so much.

As a kid I didn't like the gherkins so I always asked for a cheeseburger without them. The downside is I had to wait a few mins the upside was a fresh burger.

These days I keep them in.
