Tonight I am doing one of Nigella's recipes, coca cola gammon!

http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/516270

This is a delicious way to have a gammon, and young children, like mine, love it. Not sure what to have with it, some mash and veg I imagine.......

What are you lot indulging in?

Starting of with a light, refreshing Rose swiftly followed by a deep and mature Burgundy whilst eating 'Le twiglets' with a side of 'Haribo le sour'. Before entering............into a long a fulfilling relationship with lashings of Star.

Wild boar sausages from the local butcher. To accompany i'm toying with the idea of sweet potato mash or roasted mediteranian vegetables. lubberly.

yes The gammon was delicious, I had seconds, didn't have a big enough pan that would work on the hob, so I used a wok with a big lid and kept turning it, did the simmering in coke on Monday night and then hubby whacked it in the oven last night, so it was ready when I came home. lick Will definitely be doing that again. Have you tried the black bean soup? or do you do anything else with the left over liquor?

Just put on some potato for mash, steaming above is carrot and in about 5 minutes some cabbage. Grill is on full awaiting a sirlion steak from the local butcher, about 45 seconds a side should be sufficient lick. To be surved with a pinot noir and followed by ice cream.

Saw this http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

So cooked it last night when I got home, finally finished cooking it at about 10:30...left it to cool in the oven overninght. Took it out of the oven this morning and whacked the whole roasting tin into the fridge, so tonight we're having the lamb in pita bread pockets, with romaine lettuce, home made tatziki, cucumber, tomatoes and olives. lick

Tomorrow, the leftovers will be put into a Pilaf (onion, Garlic, Rice, dates, Apricots)
