Stuffing your bird

My recipe is ok, not very exotic but I grew up eating it, so it hits the spot nicely.

Bread, sage, diced onion, black pepper, drop of wine or a splash of beer. To this ive started adding crushed nuts and one sausage which seems to works well. Over Xmas, someone mentioned putting cranberries inside for a more exotic finished product.

Any more suggestions for the ultimate stuffing?
