Is it wrong?

You know, like when you go to visit one of our European neighbours, they insist on serving you a speckled pink salami first thing....

I simply can't face it.

Can you?

Like Bacon and sausage?

I don't mind cold meats - it does seem slightly odd I admit. I have Pate on toast for breakfast, is that odd?

I love meat for breakfast. Fish too.

Bacon and sausages - brilliant.

I can even do Steak and Eggs when in the States - you don't eat again until late that night.

I love those Tex-Mex breakfasts with chopped Chorizo and sausages too.

However - NOT OFTEN. Mostly I don't eat breakfast at all. Usually I only eat it when I'm on holiday, someone else is making it, and I will be very active all day afterwards...

I also love Scandinavian breakfast: Salamis, Cheeses, smoked fish, peppers, breads. yum

Not wrong at all (for me!)

Now...Indonesian fish porridge for breakfast? That's a bit much...at any time, frankly!

i'll eat pretty much anything for breakfast (usually muesli though)

IMO you can't beat cold left overs for breakfast - anything from take out chinese to curry, burgers, steak, chicken or pie lick

Love itlick I stayed in a rustic place in Spain where they served cold white and black puddings with a carafe of rough red wine for breakfast. Marvellouscloud9

I don’t mind a bit of ham and croissant in the morning, not so keen on the spicy salami smoked meats though. I love staying at a decent hotel where you can have the continental breakfast, followed by a full english but then I am greedy fecker. smile

:snigger:

Did my £10 knockwurst inspire you?

I love it. Alas only on special occasions of late.

Can't go without breakfast - The very thought... eek

I practically live for my morning meal, and I'm always grumpy all day if I end up with a bowl of shreddies.

Faves include:

Fried Chorizo with chilli sauce and olive oil in a warm ciabatta yum
Good old english fry up - these always seem more satisfying when you've done something first, like been shooting, or had a wank for example hehe
Bacon Rolls
Pate on toast is lush!
Kippers are great as is smoked haddock in a massive bowl of kedgeree with a runny poached egg cloud9

Trouble is... you're getting the continental breakfast in local hotels and stuff, it's like comparing one of those awesome old-school transport cafes with a Little Chef. I'm sure if you visited your average Dane's house for a sausage breakfast (easy now!) you'd find it to be a lovely brekky. smile

I don't eat wheat or dairy products, however I love sushi and could quite happily eat that morning, noon, and night.

Happiness is a breakfast of an 'Itsu' salmon box with glass noodles plus the zesty flavours of fresh herbs and chilli. lick

You can't beat a bit of salami & some cheese stuffed between a freshly baked croissant.

Thats another social climber point right there.

Best thing about breakfast in Amsterdam is those melba toast things.

Cant face the danish salami or the gouda but those melba toasts are magic.
