Right, having woken up this morning with the effects of chili sauce making themselves known i pose this question...

What makes a chicken kebab so bad for you? I always feel like one at the end of the night and if i am with my gf then she will start the usual "think of your weight" or "think of your health" but in my drunken state i dont see how chicken kebabs can be so bad for you, i always wonder this at the end of a drunken night out and then forget to ask anyone the next day.

Today i am asking.

The way i see it, its chicken grilled on their grill thing, a shed load of salad and some pitta bread, cant be that bad... can it?

I think a Shish is fine, it's just the Chicken Doner that should be avoided at all costs!!

Is that lump of oozing meat cooked all the way through?

Nothing to do with the ale of course.

Dont have the chicken doner, i usually just go for the normal chicken.

Im keen to know which one is th healthiest, i'll feel better about it then.

In all honesty, i love the pitta bread when its gone a bit soggy and coated in chili sauce, and i love the salad; but i think i'd feel a bit stupid asking for a salad kebab with chili sauce?

Can't see what's wrong with chicken doner either, just grilled chicken, and at least you can see it's actual bits of chicken not just some random processed balls like lamb doner

Just a thought, but is there a chance that there is a correlation between eating a kebab and drinking ten or more pints.

I canot remember ever eating a kebab while sober, equally I do not remember eating a kebab and feeling good the next day, however, I have not eaten a kebab and still felt like st the next day.

So what the hell do I know about kebabs and heath etc anyway ? confused

I think we're getting confused here!

Chicken Doner is like Lamb Doner- it 's sliced off the rotating leghurl It's truly awful crap!

Shish is the fresh(looking) Chicken that is on the skewer in the display fridge and is cooked when ordered. Much better for you.

Of course, neither is as nice as a large meat feast pizza at 3am!!!

It's not the kebab that's bad for you, it's the time of night your eating it frown

But you've got to admit they do taste so good at 3 in the morning lick

Lamb shish with garlic and chilli is mainly personal preference, but thinking now is probably also the most low risk option.

I know the shish chicken is the best bet.

But I am not going to lie, I eat that stuff off the spit day night, drink/sober. I freaking love it with mayo cloud9
