This may be a long shot, but i doubt it on PistonHeads!

My dad is a serious Retsina drinker on his regular trips to Greece. He has just been told that the prices have shot up since his last visit due to the greek government removing subsidies they had on it because it was the national drink.

He suspects he is being wound up, does anyone know?

Cheers guys smile

I thought it was due to global warming and the Greek govt. limiting the amount of trees that could be used for the manufacture of Retsina. wink

It's not crap, it's like marmite, love it or hate it. I quite like it after the first glass or two.
