Yea, it was ok, nice location and county pub feel. Good selection of beers etc at the bar. Service was very good staff were efficient and attentive. Food wise, I would say 6.5 out of 10 overall. Had Omlette Arnold Bennett to start which was really good, Fish chips and pea puree for main, fish was good, chips were a bit soggy (too low fat temp I guess), desert was Sherry Trifle Wally Ladd (!?!?!?), this was teeth-shatteringly sweet, too sweet for me.

Decent selection of wines, after dinner port was good, but brandy was a bit rough.

Not sure of cost, mate was paying after losing a bet about the residuals of XK convertables!
