At 30p a packet these have to be the best value midget gems the developed world's ever known. They taste great and knock spots of Maynard and Lion MG's.

Soft and delicious, but no black. For 30p they're worth a try!

Well TBH I prefer the overall ambiance and car park of Waitrose and M&S. I find that although the produce is overpriced (even for the same brands) the fact that I can hold an intelligent conversation, whilst waiting in queue for a similar amount of time makes it worthwhile. Also, can you imagine the comments if Rupert visited for high-tea, and I failed to hide said items, it would be a right kerfuffle!

Being a connoisseur of Midget Gems, I find the lack of black liquourice ones a bit of a problem.

I would however be willing to give them a go.

One must, mustn't one?

A midget gem is not a 'midget gem' unless unless they are so hard they pull your fillings/teath out with every chew. Also they must have the 'classic' black gem in licorice.

Non of these Health & Saftey approved, anti-racist midget gems for me.

Completely off topic, reminded me of a funny night in SW1 Club Victoria. Some tall good looking bloke had pulled this midget during the night and I do mean a midget. Clearly he was off his face and had not thought it through and we were all standing around, some with our new partners and waiting for others to get coats etc. I looked round and noticed others looking at him some 6ft and her some 3ft and watching their faces when the guys face suddenly changed at the realization that clearly he had pulled a 'wrong un'. The look on his face infront of everyone was truly priceless laughhehe
The use of mind altering drugs can and has been known to alter your judgement and their use is not condoned in any manner no matter how hilarious the outcome. Neither is this post meant in a defamitory way against midgets

Overly soft ones are crap, so I may give these a go.

The blackcurrent replacements for liquorice are fare superior.

can just imagine him waking up the next morning with her in the bed, him looking at the lack of bed bulge down the bed and wondering why he's pulled someone with no legs!

Midget Gems should be chewy, as should Sports Mixture.

And the black should be liquorice.

Maynards you utter cock-sockets.

there was a cracking program on channel 4 a couple of years back about midgets [one where they had the midget olympics, was fab!]. there was a guy who was about 3ft with a brother who was 6ft4. the camera crew went on a night out with them and they had this routine going on that they both used to pull some right stunners. little guy was a bit of a love god apparently.

back on topic - must be hard & chewy, must be liqorice.

[small]off to tesco now, can;t stop thinking about sweets[/pic]

For 30p I'd buy them, stick them in the 'fridge and pretend I'm colour blind
