We like this program but for fk's sake why does it need to have blaring hiphop music? Like a huge sprig of mint, it doesn't go!!!!!!

Sorry to say it but taste in music is as individual as taste in food. We think the music is a superb and refreshing change from the norm - to the extent that we have written to the production company to try to get a list of what they have used in the program.

Viva le difference eh?

It's actually got better the last two episodes, it's moved from hiphop more towards trance.

I like watching Masterchef. The 'music' has never bothered me, in fact if you hadn't mentioned it.....

What does get to me though are the two presenters. I haven't got a problem with them as individuals, it's just that together I find them too similar. You might as well just have one of them doing the job.

It's as though they have been force fed presentation skills by some guru at the BBC and in the process their personalities have dissolved away. A case of being overcooked if ever there was one.

And I wish they would stop shouting! "IT'S GOT TO BE 100% AT HIS LEVEL!!!!"

Just mellow out, man.... like one of those sublime fish pies wink

Oh aye, Emily, cute, but you know, she, like, sort of, you know, like, couldn't, you know, string more than like, three, sort of, words, without, like, putting "like" and you know, "you know", and "sort of" in between, constantly.

Wicked recipes though, I wish they'd do a follow-up programme featuring some of the more interesting characters and winners from the series. Spotted the short tubby gay bloke on some cooking programme the other day but that's it.

The proffessional Masterchef is really funny. Michelle Roux is clearly the man, whereas Greg Wallace either copies him or says something neanderthalesque like 'that was yummy' or 'me don't like'!
