Saw this really easy recipe for a snack. It was something like, put some ham in the bottom of a ramekin, pour over some tinned chopped tomatos and crack an egg in the top, bake in the oven.

Finally bought some ramekins but lost the recipie. While im searching, any other recommendations, bearing in mind I don't have a sweet tooth

I do something similar to this, crack an egg in, some cream and tear up some nice ham, bit of salt and plenty of black pepper - top with cheese and bake in the oven. Perhaps butter your ramekins first, because mine tend to stick a bit and you get something similar to an overcooked fried egg on the edges.

Edited to say.... you can also do a similar thing in a hollowed out beef tomato!

Smoked fish creams from Delia. They're delicious, easy to make, and never fail to impress at a dinner party.

Serve with some rocket and home made hollandaise sauce.

Potted shrimps.

Essentially its just butter and shrimps/prawns.

Slowly melt some butter in a pan - probably about 100g. Add some cooked brown shrimps (shelled obviously) for a couple of minutes at a low heat. Transfer the shrimps to ramekins and push down. Pour over the butter to the top of the bowl and leave in the fridge to set. Eat like pate with brown bread or toast.

You can add other stuff as you like to the mix - garlic, cayenne, anchovy essence etc.
