I've bought myself a packet of polenta from the supermarket.. but just don't know what to do with it. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to cook it and what it goes well with.
Thanks thumbup

Prepare it according to the packet instructions and then spread it thinly into a baking tray - about 1-2cm thick. Leave it in the fridge until it goes hard. Slice into pieces and fry in butter for about 3 mins on each side until nicely browned. Goes well with loads of things. I've tried it with duck breast and rabbit stew.

Goes well as a bed for a lot of meats - soaks up the juices. Above suggestions are good... pidgeon's also good with polenta
