Streaky Bacon at Waitrose

They have some offer on some speciality streaky bacon at the moment, can't remember the name of it (started with a 'D'), anyway it's 20% off or something.

The point of the post is that it is FABULOUS bacon - go try some. I griddled it until crispy and slapped it between think crappy sunblest white bread with butter and HP sauce - best bacon sarnie I have had in years

Can't stop thinking about it....

Never tried that with HP and Butter.. I have to now. I usually make them with some Mayo... heaven.

Streaky Bacon tip... try and find "Center Cut" if you can.

The local butcher does proper bacon about 2-3mm thick - Now that has taste and is brown on the outside and suculent in the middle [Homer mode]Mmmmmmmmmmmm - bacon[/Homer mode]
