Onion Chutney

I got some cheap dare i say it Tesco Onion Chutney. Am addicted to it now!

Does any one have a nice tested recipe on how to make some?

Ive never attempted to make a chutney - cant be too difficult though....

Got a great recipe for onion marmalade somewhere, similar I suppose. Great with sausages and stuff. I'll have to dig it out, but its pretty simple. 1kg of onions cooked over a low heat for ages until they become a 10th of their size approx with a dash of balsamic and some brown sugar I think.....
