Well after a crappy start to the night, I decided to treat myself to a Chinese...

So I picked Chicken and Cashew Nuts in Yellow Bean sauce, boiled rice, and a portion of Prawn Crackers(half of which are left...why oh why are the bags so big?)

But I also love Pork, Pickled Ginger and Pineapple lick

So what do you get when you head to the Chinese?

It's not a chinese take-away without ribs. Not in sauce but either honey roast or baked in chilli salt. To accompany I shall have Yung Chow fried rice topped with a generous portion of duck in plum sauce. No prawn crackers thank you - unnecessary fillers when you could be eating meat!

Ours is usually:

Salt and chilli ribs and seaweed for starters
Sweet and sour chicken balls
Szechuan Smoked Chicken
Beef Chow Mein
Special Fried Rice.

Although recently we have been deleting the Chow Mein in favour of a Chinese Beef curry.
I'm also partial to Chicken Satay skewers on the odd occasion.

[homer simpson] dim sum, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh [/homer simpson]

not had a chinese takeaway for over a year. there isn't a decent one round my way and i fail to understand why people eat below par, MSG heavy takeaway. i reckon windolene would be less vinegary than my local's sweet n sour sauce.

ideally, i would have half a crispy duck followed by lamb with ginger & spring onion with noodles lick
