Following on from Gaffers Vodka thread, i cleared out our Drinks cabinet last night and found the following -

2 X 1.5 ltr bottles of Gordons
1 x 1 ltr bottle of Gordons imported
1 x 1 ltr bottle of Bombay Sapphire
1 x 1 ltr bottle of Tanqueray
2 x 1 ltr bottles of Tanqueray Ten cloud9
1 x 75cl bottle of Hendircks

Anything i'm missing or should have on the Gin front ?

I've had Plymouth before but was never a fan of it.

My inlaws (who like a gin or 6 of an evening) swear by Mahon gin.
I have no idea if it's decent or gutrot.

Not that I am an alcoholic or anything but I generally have Bombay Sapphire in the fridge.

I also cut up lemons/limes and store in the freezer in bags.

Never really liked Gordon's - makes me get all upset but BS is fine.

If you like Tanqueray then you'll definitely like Bulldog gin, only place i've brought it is at gerrys of soho, worth searching out.

Keep the gin in the freezer and the tonic in the fridge. lick Keeping the glass in the freezer is not so clever, as it can burn your fingers..

Yup gin in the freezer, tonic in the fridge, sliced lemon/lime in the freezer!

Out of preference Bombay Sapphire but for budgetary reasons I'm onto organic gin from either Tesco or Sainsburys!

Take half a cucumber, cut into 1/2" slices and then into 6. Put into the freezer and use with the G&T instead of ice cloud9

Gordons Distillers Cut ain't too bad, although some don't like it because it's "flavoured" (lemongrass & ginger)

That........sounds really good! My vote is also with Hendricks, and was going to say that it's a slightly different flavour to other gins and - for me - goes much better with lime rather than lemon. I must admit that small frozen cucumber chunks does sound just the ticket in a Hendricks G&T.

I'm not a big gin fan, but as long as you have a bottle of Bombay Sapphire in your collection I think you are covered IMO.
And some halved baby mandarins in the freezer to throw in...

Bombay Sapphire or Tanqueray for me. Although I did find some (Miller's IIRC) that gets shipped to Iceland for the water to be added. It didn't taste any better, but had a certain cachet for lentilist irritationthumbup

Damn, wish i'd read this thread before having my G&T earlier....

Tanqueray at the moment, it's either Tanqueray or Bombay here, never thought about storing it in the freezer though. May have to try that.

Fresh limes (lemons tonight as we have a glut) for me though.

I've eaked out last year's sloe gin for this Christmas as we have no sloes around here this year frown

Be slightly carefully storing Bombay Sapphire in the freezer, I've had a couple that have leaked if they are laid down - it's not a good moment to discover you've lost half a bottle of good gin!

Prop it up on something to make sure it doesn't leak!
