roosting dish 1/2" water lay in, crushed black pepper slow cook for 1.1/2 hr 80deg fine chop streaky bacon and onion fry till near crisp add 2 cups red wine 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tea spoon gravy granules bring to boil serve the Pheasant on a bed of spinach and pore over the sauce

not bad , could add the odd carrot and leak .do fancy mushrooms with it though
