I wanted chinese, she wanted pizza, so we've ordered both.

Salt & Chilli King Prawn
Egg Fried Rice
Curry Sauce
Chips (I know but they go with curry sauce and she can have some with the pizza)
Prawn Crackers

'Hot Shot' 11" thin and crispy with peperoni, olives, mozzarella and peppers.

We seem to have an issue with the deliveries being in-sync though. mine is expected 30 mins before hers!!

What are you eating tonight??

Classic herb crusted rack of lamb
Dijon mash
Braised red cabbage

Oh, and serrano ham, figs, Mozzerella and basil for starters while we wait for the cabbage to cook.

THE quality pilsener given the voltage and consequent flavour reduction of Urquell.

Dinner tonight consisted of pasta.

With sauteed garlic chicken, julienned vegetables, and toasted pine nuts finished with Parmagiano shavings.

I got some fresh local tiger prawns from my local seafood place, peeled them and had them with patas bravas and plenty of extra sauce (mmm harissa) to dip the prawns in

Then pan fried some fresh barramundi and served it with some parsley butter I knocked up and a fresh green leaf salad with a dead simple olive oil and garlic dressing I keep in the fridge.

Tonight I'll probably do a simple stir fry with some chicken marinated in red curry paste, some rice noodles, capsicum, some other vegies and some tofu.

Got to love the summer!

Being as the weather is somewhat different here we ended up with spit-roasted poussin, with roast winter vegetables (parsnip, mushrooms and carrot) and mashed potatoes. lick

Yeah, gotta have some climate appropriate food.

Tonight, made up a peri peri style sauce, marinated some chicken pieces in it then cooked it on the bbq. Awesome with a few ice cold coopers pale ales.

[Homer]Mmmm. Coopers.[/Homer]

[Nostalgia]
I remember drinking Coopers in a pub just off King St not far from the Coke Sign.

Nightly.

Strong ale that. It'll go nicely with the Peri Peri Chicken.

Saturday - Steak, Potato wedges, broccoli and carrots with white horse bitter followed by traffic light jelly
Sunday - Fishermans Pie with mixed veg and a pint of black sheep followed by chocolate pudding with ice cream
Tonight - Chicken and Leek Pie (currently in the oven) with green beans (frozen) and cabbage with a glass or 2 of chateau dubois gramont. I haven't decided on pudding yet. I fancy a steamed treacle pudding but haven't got enough time so may just be ice cream. Maybe a glass of port to finish.
