Is there anything better than the smell of bacon under the grill on a Sunday morning?

HP and dry cured unsmoked, cooked in the oven on 200 for 22 mins...plus a dunk in the fat. Empty plate in front of me now, all washed down with a cup of builders...bliss.

I had crispy bacon with an omelette... and black coffee to wash it down.

Just cooked poached eggs on toast for just about the first time ever.

Clingfilm method is excellent - would have been perfect if I'd rubbed a dab of oil inside as one got stuck. More of the same for me next weekend (and next time I'll add crispy bacon as well!)

Now I'm hungry!
But cooked breakfast is better when someone else makes it for you.

Only one thing - the smell of bacon when someone else is cooking it and I'm still in bed...

Grill if not oven.

Frying pan is just too messy, plus I prefer my bacon to be cooked to a crisp
