Jack and 7 Up.

Alternatively, Lynchburg Lemonade: JD, 7 Up, triple sec and sour mash. Best enjoyed in a rocking chair on the front porch while nursing a shotgun.

ETA: shout groucho...

I've used it to cook sticky ribs, but I guess that isn't what you're asking for, is it?

CyprusCraig, what part of Cyprus takes Turkish Lira?
I like mine simple. Pint glass, a few nuggets of ice, a good few shots, topped up with full fat coke. Marveloso.

They do a JD sauce now, to save you wasting the drinking stuff smile
I too drink mine with Coca cola. It was reduced from £19 odd a bottle to £12.50 at Christmas, so a couple of bottles now prop up "the bar" smile

I used to love JD and Coca Cola, now I find it far too sweet, even with diet coke. I have 2 large bottles of the JD to get through - so cooking ribs seemed like a good idea. Actually I wonder if there is anything else I could use it for scratchchin

The JD website has lots of recipes on it, from breakfast dishes through to birthday cake.

Alternatively I could just give the stuff away, it is taking up cupboard space. Given the fact that most recipes seem to ask for only an ounce or two at a time, even if I used it weekly I'd still have some left next Christmas. hehe

First thing I'm going to do, instead of buying pre packed roast ham, is to make a JD marinade and roast a gammon joint.

What do I drink it with?

Friends...

Although, the honeymoon period in Oz is wearing off and i'm all too aware JD can cost the equivalent of £24...

no wonder Britain is drunk.

I cannot stand JD but love the sauce. Bought the ready made stuff from ASDA and its OK, but nowt compared to making your own glaze.

Bit of a PIA but yum still got to figure of if it can be frozen, it never lasts long enough.

Simmer half a glass of JD for 5 minutes, pour in a tub of cream, stir, turn off heat, add strips of smoked salmon, toss into fresh tagliatelle. Eat. Yum.
