I'm in Gloucester all next week on some training.

Can anyone recommend any decent eateries in the area?

Italin, Pub Grub, Indian, Mexican etc?

1st recommendation - go to Cheltenham instead.

Montpelier is a nice place to go out (end of the A40 as you come into Cheltenham).

The Beehive on Montpelier Villas is a nice pub with very good food, in the bar or in the little restaurant there. Zizzi is nearby on Suffolk Square. A bit more of a "chain" type of place, but very good nonetheless.

Was there on contract for a few years, working on Passport migration, left about 4 years ago.
Still miss the summer 5-aside competition...

If you can get 15-20 minutes out of Gloucester, go to a pub called the Green Dragon, you WILL need satnav to find it but its worth it.

OT - Ah good old Passport; that brings back memories. Spent 3 years of my life migrating Magnox to v9!
