I really like the restaurant bit in the back of Metro.

Loads of places now, though - I'm afraid I've not tried many of the recent ones.

Hmmm now I've been there not too long ago and was really disapointed.. we went on a really busy night and the wait for the food was incredible. We ordered some garlic bread to keep us going because they said the starters would be a while... then they brought everything together.
Might have just been an off night though.

Really yikes

They are normally top notch frown

in that case, have a wander around the Mailbox or Brindley Place, usually somewhere there that will take your fancy!

I really liked Bank in Brindley Place, had a few cocktails first.. and the staff there really knew their stuff about the food - even managed to get a recipe off someone!

My friend's just been to Turners

not too sure how expensive it is though, but she loved it.

Great atmosphere but I've always been a bit disappointed by the food (both at lunchtime and in the evening). It's pretty ordinary Italian, nothing special.
