BBQ Bacon Explosion
Discussion
My first bacon explosion was constructed on Saturday.
I used Budweiser bbq sauce.
Absolute fecking winner. Although there was a larger gender split in terms of who liked it than I expected. It is apparently not a girl thing.
One of its biggest fans was someone introduced to me as a 'London chef' so it evidently works on a variety of levels.
Recommended.

I have not had a chance to do it yet but it is on my top priority list this summer.

It's just a pork terrine done american style, ie a pinched idea done worse and made less tasty and worse for your body.

Well, not really. -I can cook a bit, and have served terrines of various descriptions in different settings. Here's the original

The 'explosion' is silly, fun party food served hot, a slice of which, crammed into a cheap floury bap does the same sort of job as a sausage sandwich and is deeply satisfying because of it, particularly with a cold beer in the other hand.
I can't for the life of me see why you'd want to compare the two.
Unless you're Brian Sewell.
Routinely serving terrines to one's friends on the croquet lawn.
