Need some advice on somewhere decent for lunch in Chester. Its for Mrs Madness 40th but can't be too heavy as we have main do in the evening. She wants to spend the day in Chester abusing my credit cards and so need to pull something special out for lunch.

I went to Moules a Go Go a few years ago for lunch and really enjoyed it. Mrs GMan did not as we had been to the races the day before and she had overdown it on the free drink in our tent, so it was wasted on her!!!

Another vote for Harkers here - very good, different pub food

Oddfellows is good for a reasonably classy sort of lunch or afternoon tea:

A vote here, also, for the Grosvenor.
