If you don't subscribe to the meat is murder rubbish, why don't you eat Beef?

A cow is 'made' from grass, its food, so it is ok to eat as a vegetarian - a grass fed cow is actually a stealth vegetable.

By the OP's rational some people are therefore made of cows. Would the OP consider it ok to eat these people on that basis?

I know a few Veggie's who don't like the taste of meat - hence stuff like Quorn really irritates them.

As Dara O'Brien said 'if God didn't want us to eat animals, why did He make them out of meat?'

I dont subscribe to the meat is murder rubbish, but I just stopped eating beef one day for no apparant reason, then when I started cycling, I kept passing all the little lambs, poor little things I thought, so stopped eating lamb as well.

But I do eat port, chicken, turkey, ostritch, venison no worries. Yes I know I am not a true veggie.

By the same choice I dont ever eat yoghurt, crab, lobster, shell fish, but I do enjoy fish and chips, and smoked haddock.

Veggies are mostly carrot munching dykes.

That's not all they do with the carrots. Allegedly.

I have only ever met one vegetarian who had a cast iron, totally justifiable and un-arguable reason for being so.

She didn't like animals.
