Sauce for cheap steaks on the BBQ
Discussion
Doing a monster pile of steaks for the barbeque tomorrow, little bits of rump are already marinading in my patented BBQ Sauce (soy, tomato puree, garlic, smoked paprika, cider, maple syrup etc. etc.) but looking for something different for the pack of thin sandwich steaks.
Any ideas? I have quite few herbs and spices, was thinking maybe something Indian?

Indian cuisine not being reknowned for its beef recipes,
Yes, I did think that as I pressed post, but having spent time in Bangladesh and pakistan I'm not averse to a bit of curried beef. The satay idea does sound good. They really are so thin I could roll them up and use them as Rizla. Still, at £1.53 for half a kilo you can't complain.
Hmmm... Must get down there.
If the steaks are very thin, I'd roll them up and make them into little 'wheels' before skewering.
Incidentally there is lots of wild food out there at the moment, begging to be made use of. If you can find 'Ransomes' / wild garlic, I'd wrap that up in it as well.
