Was there last Friday night for dinner being entetained by an investor (so I didn't complain as it was their reccomendation) and have never had such an overpriced, poor meal. Was I just unlucky?

Yes.

I've been a few times as it's quite local. I found the food to be very good quality especially the specials but nothing exotic. The good old quality ingrediants simply cooked. I stayed in the rooms a couple of times and they are also nice and unique if a little overpriced.

The staff let them down in the restaurant, they seem like undertrained kids in the main.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd drag this one up.

Went last night and it's the third time we've been in the last 18 months. Really, really love this place and has become our fave place to eat within stricking distance of home.
