Decided we'd try it tomorrow night - just been on to the website to figure out the exact location and found out they've just won a Michelin star, which is a nice surprise.

Anyone been?

Yes smile

It was very nice, but honestly, not as nice as I was expecting. The place itself is lovely though.

Yep, the setting is excellent with very inviting grounds and river running through them (reminded me of Gidleigh Park).

We thought the restaurant was very good. In the end we went for the tasting menu (had intended to go for the a la carte) and we were very impressed throughout with the taste and presentation of the food plus the portion sizes were larger than usual for a tasting menu too wink

The evening ended with what is probably the _best_ chocolate fondant I've had.

Thoroughly recommended!
